2025 Music in PyeongChang

The 2025 Music in PyeongChang (MPyC), under Artistic Director Sung-Won Yang, will be hosted by Gangwon State and organized by the Gangwon Art & Culture Foundation. The 11-day festival will take place from July 23 (Wed) to August 2 (Sat), at the Alpensia Concert Hall and Music Tent in Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang, and the surrounding vicinity in Gangwon State.

This year, under the theme “Inter Harmony” (Sharing in Harmony: Musical Inspirations Beyond Borders), the festival presents a series of classical performances featuring leading musicians and rising young artists. The program highlights works by great composers inspired from the traditions and cultures of other countries and regions. Artistic Director Yang envisions a world united through music, where our differences give rise to even more beautiful legacies, and hopes this year’s festival will offer lasting inspiration to all who attend.

Throughout the festival, there will be a wide range of events and programs, featuring 21 Concerts, 9 Outreach Concerts, a variety of educational programs, including the Chamber Music Mentorship Program, Masterclasses, and 5 Family Outreach Concerts, and Additional Events
